Javier on Where Only Fools Dare Tread (lower left of map)
First meeting remark
Uncorking that vial was the biggest mistake
I ever made in my life.
vialThe old man said it contained the trapped
spirit of some powerful being. I didn't know
how right he was.
old (or) manHe was a friend's grandfather. When he was
young, a group of Germans camped near his
village and he spied on them ...
friend's (or) grandfatherWe wondered why the old man never
followed the Germans himself. Now I guess
we know.Germans (or) spied
They were looking for this vial that killed
me. He stole their maps and copied them.
He gave them to us forty years later.
mapsThe maps I had have rotted by now. They
were mostly useless, anyway, but they told
us the only way to escape this place.
escapeThe German's notes said that the only way
to open the exit at the base of the pyramid
was with an alien gemstone.
alien (or) gemstoneThe stone is at the bottom of the pyramid's
dungeons, supposedly. We never found it.
spirit (or) powerful (or) beingI know something appeared, when I opened
the bottle. But I didn't know what it was. I
hardly got a glimpse of it
name
My name is Javier. That's Carlos, over there
without his head.
CarlosCarlos never really wanted to come, I'm
totally responsible for his death. And the
others, too.
othersAll six of them. And they're all dead
because of me and this stupid useless bottle.
death
I couldn't wait to find out what was inside.
The old man told me it was powerful, I just
didn't understand what he meant.
Pedro (or) Juan
Juan and Pedro both died far above us. It's
all my fault.
faultAll I can do is think that I am responsible
for their deaths.
gold (or) key
We took the gold key from a dead body far
above us, but we never found the gold door
which it opened.
Any word that doesn't trigger a new conversation will elicit the following replies:
I don't understand.You're not making any sense.
What did you say?
